STAXX Collabs
STAXX Equinox Recap: An NFT project committed to art and the NFT community
Web3 and the NFT space are empowering visual artists through unparalleled forms of collaboration. The space has opened up a conversation between creatives that is entirely on the artist’s terms. Web3 platforms are also giving audience more immediate access to this process. The STAXX project is working to showcase and share with holders some of the most respected and talented artists in the NFT space and beyond. STAXX Collabs has kicked off through the launch of STAXX Equinox, a virtual art week held during March 2022, sharing a series of art collaborations from leading artists in the NFT space.
The artists who collaborated during the STAXX Equinox Virtual Art Week included Amber Vittoria, Nook, Sabet, Diela, FatBaby, PaperD, ROMbrandt, Craig & Karl, Aslan Ruby, Isabelle, Tiffatronn, Debbie Tea and Mark James. Each of these artists took the form provided by their creator Stackles, and gave an interpretation of the STAXX.
Many of the collaborating artists created works that were clearly formed through their extensive creative language. This resulted in a thrilling range of interpretations. One particular collaboration between Stackles and ROMbrandt involved a back-and-forwards approach where the artists layered their gestures over each other in the same artwork.
Equinox is a time of balance — equal parts day and night. This idea extends to a STAXX initiative where 50% of all secondary sales of the Equinox collabs is pooled and shared equally among the contributors. This idea has been fully embraced by the Equinox artists as they share in each other’s success.
STAXX Equinox Virtual Art Week will be a regular art event in the NFT calendar so follow STAXX on Twitter for all project updates and for more innovation and collaboration.
